VOMIT on CAPITAL CHAOS 2008 @ Capitol Bowl/300 Room~West Sacramento, CA 3/8/2008 also on the bill were THE UNABOMBERS & BEERLORDS…VOMIT feature ex members of HOODS http://www.myspace.com/vomitdamit So… here is a brief history of the band VOMIT. Formed in 1989, the band was originally from Milwaukee, WI. The recordings that you hear on our myspace page, are from a demo recorded and released in 1991. Founding members Bill Lorenz and Dave O’Conner are members of the current line-up.
Sometime after relocating to Sacramento, Dave opened up Sacramento Tattoo. Bill then relocated, to work at the shop. They have since teamed up with Mario Maynor and Jeremy Roberts, retired members of the Sacramento band HOODS, to reform VOMIT. The new line-up has been performing live for 8 months, and is currently rehearsing for it’s upcoming recording sessions. A new demo will be released sometime this Spring.

Pressure Point is an American Oi! band from Sacramento,California, formed in 1994 by Mike Erickson and Kenny Beasley. Pressure Point includes Mike Erickson- vocals, Kenny Beasley- guitar and vocals, Brandon- guitar and vocals, Nate Duskalos- drums, and Nate Alexander-bass. Mike and Kenny have been the only two continuous members of the band since its’ creation. The band started out of the ashes of their former band Deep Six. They have played with some of the most notable Punk, Oi!, and Hardcore bands including Blitz, Agnostic Front, Swingin’ Utters, Randumbs, Blood For Blood, Rancid, Angelic Upstarts, Anti-Heroes, The Adicts, and One Way System. Lars Frederiksen of Rancid has produced 2 of their full-lengths, their EP, and their 7″. He also appeared on their song Here to Stay from their newest full-length, Resist and Riot.

CONDUCTING FROM THE GRAVE @ The Boardwalk~Orangevale, CA 02/16/2008 also on the bill were SONATA ARCTICA * AT DAWN Conducting From The Grave formed in the fall of 2003 from members and ex-members of local Sacramento bands With Passion, Promising Tomorrow and others. http://www.conductingfromthegrave.com/ By mid 2004 a solid line-up had been established: John Abernathy on guitar, Gregory Donnelly (formerly of Promising Tomorrow) on drums, Jeffrey Morgan (formerly of With Passion) on guitar, Philip Williamson on bass, and Shaun Gier (guitarist of With Passion) on vocals. http://www.myspace.com/conductingfromthegrave In October 2004 Conducting From The Grave released their first recording, a 4-song demo entitled “Breathe The Blackened Sky.” Then in early 2005 Shaun had to leave the band to dedicate more time to his other band (With Passion) who had just signed to Earache Records. Shaun was quickly succeeded by new vocalist Drew Winter (formerly of Murder at Hand). http://capitalchaos.net/ By this time they had established a significant following in Northern California and were ready to hit the studio in preparation for the April 2005 release of their debut EP, “Trials Of The Forsaken”. Conducting From The Grave then spent the summer of ’05 touring the US in support of the release. When the band returned home Phil Williamson decided to leave the band to persue personal interests. In the following weeks Conducting From The Grave decided to part ways with Drew Winter as well. Drew then went on to become the vocalist for Debello Castrum. In the process of searching for new members, the band discovered that their good friends With Passion had also recently suffered a severe loss of members. Due to the bands having shared some of the same members previously, John Abernathy, Jeff Morgan, and Greg Donnelly decided to join forces with Michael Nordeen and Shaun Gier (the two remaining members of With Passion) to form a new line-up as With Passion on Earache Records…
…Now, 2 years later, John, Jeff and Greg have decided to leave the ever-struggling band known as With Passion. Drew, John, Jeff and Greg have all agreed to reunite the band. Steven Lovas, whom filled Michael Nordeens shoes in With Passion after his departure, has joined the band on bass. The band is currently writing new material and brushing up on the old stuff. The band is expected to resume fully around November 2007.
