(Sacramento) emblymember Sandré Swanson (D-Oakland) joined more than a dozen other members of the California State embly Democratic Caucus at a capitol news conference to express his disappointment with the state Supreme Courts decision to uphold Proposition 8, the ban on same sex marriage. emblymember Swanson compared the ban on same sex marriage to the misguided ban on interracial marriage that was on the books for many years, saying it is a question of equality. “Love Song” is a power ballad by the band Tesla, from the album The Great Radio Controversy, released in 1989. When the video was placed in heavy rotation on MTV, the song rocketed to #10 in the U.S. charts, becoming one of the group’s biggest hits.
The music video was filmed in the bands home town of Sacramento at the former Cal Expo amphitheater. Old 93 Rock banners can be seen hanging in the back ground.
