Lil Bunnies Sacramento band at the Hemlock Easter 2008

Everyone’s favorite garage band the Lil Bunnies played their first show in 10 years. Lil Bunnies, Nobunny and Little Claw celebrated Easter at the Hemlock in San Francisco. March 23, 2008.

Such is the nature of the Lil Bunnies that seeing one of it’s (former?) members around Sacramento is akin to spotting a war criminal in Bolivia. You don’t just walk up to one of them and say, “Hey, aren’t you Klaus Barbie?”

Usually they just played The Loft in Sacramento. There’s a great videotape of the show they did at Gilman.

Revolver say: LIL’ BUNNIES “Fifty Children’s Favorites” (Rockin’ Bones-RON 033) ***Sacramento’s late, lamented version of the Electric Eels (they needed it) promote this record as “The Worst Album of All Time.” Surely you remember their excellent singles and the time they hijacked a float at Sacto’s Easter Day parade.
